Welcome to your Short Story Unit of Study! In this section, the theme we will focus on is Dystopia and the main ideas we will address are: conflict, character, setting, atmosphere, point of view, theme, irony, and symbolism. Copies of the stories and the corresponding assignment are available below. I've also included a link to a flashcard study aid to help with your understanding of short story terminology. These terms will also be important to know for your final exam at the end of the semester/year.
